A brief guide to the Community Café

group

Despite the cold, the rain, and the roadworks, the Opening Day
of the Community Cafe, to be known as @Badger's Break',
was hailed a huge success.
During the week we will be providing breakfast, light lunches,
cakes and drinks together with lunch on Saturdays.

The Café will also be offering a book exchange scheme,
young children's play area and,
over time, more facilities for the village.

The Café will be operated on a not-for-profit
basis with any excess funds going to taking on
and training unemployed youngsters from our area.

A warm welcome awaits everyone.

On Saturdays, in addition to those items
on the weekday menu, we will be offering cooked lunches.

Breakfast, light lunches, cakes and drinks available

The extension on Friday will allow us to offer cooked lunches
e.g. shepherd's pie, lasagne, beef stew etc.
together with hot and cold desserts.

We will also be offering
a discount to seniors for a two course special,
which includes tea or coffee.

Our Book Exchange scheme continues to prosper,
so please come down and take a look at what's on offer.

Finally, we always need new volunteers; to help waitress, prepare food
or wash-up, so please contact us if you are interested, again
on a regular or occasional basis.

Do come and experience all the Café has to offer.
